The Murray Mustangs will head out to face off against the Seymour Warriors at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Seymour took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Murray, who comes in off a win.

Murray took a loss when they played away from home last Friday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Friday. They blew past Mormon Trail 50-26. The Mustangs' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Meanwhile, Seymour unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Friday. They were beaten by Lenox 50-14. The contest marked the Warriors' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Murray's win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 2-5. As for Seymour, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-3.

Everything came up roses for Murray against Seymour in their previous matchup back in September of 2022, as the squad secured a 36-6 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Mustangs since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
