East Noble took a seven-run  defeat the last time they faced off against Norwell, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. East Noble sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with  a  3-2  victory over Norwell  on Thursday. For East Noble, this counts as revenge for the   8-1 win Norwell walked away with the last time they faced one another  back in May of 2024.
 Parker Kerr was a  major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he  tossed two innings while giving up   no  earned runs off   two  hits. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't  given up  more than two  walks in four consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate,  going 3-for-4 with one  stolen base and one  run.
 Kerr wasn't  the only one making solid contact as  four players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was  Ian Ramey, who  got on base  in all three of his plate appearances with one  run.
East Noble's  victory was their first in the conference, bumping their conference record up to 1-3 and their overall record up to 8-6. As for Norwell, their loss dropped their record down to 11-7.
 Both  squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. East Noble will welcome Eastside  at 5:30  p.m.  on Monday. As for Norwell, they will look to defend their home field  on Tuesday against DeKalb  at 5:30  p.m.
