Basketball Recap: El Reno Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact El Reno can now relate to. They fell 65-57 to the Memorial Chargers on Monday. The Indians have been going strong on the season, but this is now their second defeat in a row.

Fabian Harris continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Memorial, shooting 60% from the field on his way to 26 points and six rebounds. That's the most points Harris has posted since back in November of 2024. Another player making a difference was Isaiah Garrett, who earned 12 points and eight boards.

El Reno's loss dropped their record down to 20-3. As for Memorial, the victory was the 16th in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 25-4.

El Reno does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Memorial, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 60-46 defeat against Lawton on the 13th.
