Basketball Recap: Mitchell Comes Up Short

Mitchell lost against Shakamak back in December of 2023 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Mitchell Bluejackets were beaten by the Shakamak Lakers 54-22. The Bluejackets have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Mitchell's loss dropped their record down to 3-14. As for Shakamak, the victory got them back to even at 7-7.

Mitchell will host North Daviess at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Shakamak, they will venture away from home to square off against White River Valley at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. One thing working in White River Valley's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last three contests.
