Hatton is 9-1 against East Lawrence since December of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Saturday. Having just played yesterday, the Hatton Hornets will head out on the road to face off against the East Lawrence Eagles at 5:00 p.m. Hatton is coming into the match hot, having won their last three games.

On Friday, Hatton was able to grind out a solid victory over Lawrence County, taking the game 48-41.

Meanwhile, East Lawrence entered their tilt with Addison on Thursday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. The stars were shining brightly for them in a 51-34 win over the Bulldogs. Given the Eagles' advantage in MaxPreps' Alabama basketball rankings (they are ranked 58th, while the Bulldogs are ranked 322nd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Hatton is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a nice bump to their 4-7 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 60.0 points per game. As for East Lawrence, their victory bumped their record up to 10-3.

Hatton took a serious blow against East Lawrence when the teams last played back in December of 2023, falling 65-35. Can Hatton avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
