Volleyball Recap: Smithton Tigers vs. Stover Bulldogs
If Smithton was feeling good fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Bunceton on Monday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Tigers fell 3-1 to the Stover Bulldogs on Tuesday. The Tigers haven't had much luck with the Bulldogs recently, as the team has come up short the last eight times they've met.
Smithton started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The final score came out to 23-25, 25-20, 25-20, 25-14.
Drew Bray paced Smithton's offense, picking up 11 kills. Bray got some help from Carolina Houston and her 27 assists. Aubree Huddleston controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.
