Basketball Recap: Coffee Trojans vs. Veterans Warhawks
Coffee lost against Veterans back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Coffee Trojans lost to the Veterans Warhawks at home by a 78-63 margin. While losing is never fun, the Trojans can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Georgia basketball rankings (they are ranked 400th, while the Warhawks are ranked 139th).

Despite the defeat, Coffee saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Tresean Smith dropped a double-double on 13 points and ten boards. Those ten rebounds set a new season-high mark for Smith. Jerimyha Perry was another key player, going 6 for 12 on his way to 13 points.
