Logan County had already won four in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 3.5 runs) and they went ahead and made it five on Monday. Everything went their way against the Todd County Central Rebels as they made off with a 10-0 win. That's more bragging rights for the Cougars, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Tate McLean made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits while striking out eight over six innings pitched. McLean was also solid in the batter's box, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with one RBI.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Drew McLellan, who went 2-for-4 with two doubles, one stolen base, and one run. Those two doubles gave him a new career-high. EJ Walker was another key player, getting on base in all four of his plate appearances with one stolen base and one run.

Logan County's record now sits at 13-5. As for Todd County Central, they moved to 8-4 with that loss, which also ended their five-game winning streak.

Logan County will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Rebels: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
