Football Recap: Hamilton Township Find Success

It may have taken overtime to finish the job, but Hamilton Township ultimately got the result they hoped for on Friday. They walked away with a 34-27 win over the St. Charles Cardinals. This was payback for the Rangers, who suffered a 21-14 loss the last time these two teams met.

Jovon McBride had an outrageously good game as he picked up 104 receiving yards and three scores.

Hamilton Township has started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it. The victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they've averaged 30.5 points this season. As for St. Charles, their defeat was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-1.

Looking ahead, Hamilton Township is packing up and heading out for their first away game of the season: they will face off against Independence at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for St. Charles, they will welcome Westerville South at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
