Calvary Baptist put another one in the bag on Saturday to keep their perfect season alive. They came out on top against the Valley Christian Academy Lions by a score of 2-0.

Alexandra Martin paced Calvary Baptist's offense, picking up 11 kills. Martin got some help from Tatiana Dashjian and her ten assists. Martin was also solid from the service line: she led the team with five aces.

Calvary Baptist's win bumped their record up to 8-0. As for Valley Christian Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 1-2.

Looking ahead, Calvary Baptist will square off against Packinghouse Christian Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Cougars are facing the Bears at the right time seeing as the Bears are stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Valley Christian Academy, they are packing up and heading out on the road for their first away game of the season: they will take on San Luis Obispo Classical Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
