Softball Recap: Archie Comes Up Short

Archie fell victim to Lincoln and their airtight pitching crew on Wednesday. They came up short against the Cardinals, falling 16-0. The Whirlwinds haven't had much luck with the Cardinals recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

Archie's loss dropped their record down to 5-6. As for Lincoln, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 17-2.

Coming up, Archie will head out on the road to take on Osceola at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Lincoln, they will look to defend their home field on Thursday against Green Ridge at 5:00 p.m.
