There's no place like home for Mountain House, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. Everything went their way against the Manteca Buffaloes on Wednesday as they made off with a 7-1 win. Considering the Mustangs have won 11 contests by more than five runs this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.
Luna Lopez spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned run on five hits.
On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Isabel Obaob, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with three runs, one stolen base, and one RBI. That's the most hits she has posted since back in March. The team also got some help courtesy of Surianti Bakri, who went 1-for-3 with one home run and two RBI.
Mountain House is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 20-7 record this season.
