Soccer Game Preview: Northshore vs. Episcopal

The Northshore Panthers will head out to challenge the Episcopal Knights at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Northshore will be strutting in after a victory while Episcopal will be coming in after a loss.

Northshore took a loss when they played away from home on Monday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Tuesday. They blew past Ponchatoula 3-0. Given Northshore's advantage in MaxPreps' Louisiana soccer rankings (they are ranked 18th, while Ponchatoula are ranked 66th) , the win wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, after a string of 11 wins, Episcopal's good fortune finally ran out on Tuesday. They came up short against Archbishop Hannan, falling 3-0. While getting shut out isn't ideal, Episcopal haven't been shut out since back in November of 2025.

Episcopal's defeat dropped their record down to 12-2. As for Northshore, their win was their first in the district, bumping their district record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 10-6-2.
