Volleyball Recap: Palm Beach Gardens Takes a Loss

Palm Beach Gardens was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their ninth straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 3-0 to the Leonard Lancers. The Gators were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Lancers apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in September of 2022.

The match finished with set scores of 25-11, 25-21, 25-17.

Leonard was led to victory by Victoria Fermin and Ketteline Augustin. Fermin had four aces and three digs, while Augustin had nine digs and two aces. Fermin is also crushing it when it comes to assists: she's posted at least 23 every time she's taken the court this season.

Palm Beach Gardens' loss dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Leonard, the victory got them back to even at 2-2.

Looking ahead, Palm Beach Gardens will venture away from home to square off against Atlantic at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Leonard, they will face off against Lake Worth Christian at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday.
