Softball Recap: Tolono Unity Continues Road Dominance on Friday

Tolono Unity came out on top against Prairie Central on Friday thanks in part to the team's impressive five-run seventh inning. The Rockets never let the Hawks get on the board and left with an 8-0 victory. The Rockets haven't had any issues with the Hawks recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive win against them.

Tolono Unity's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 17-3. The road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.3 runs over those games. As for Prairie Central, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 11-13 record this season.

Tolono Unity will be playing at home against St. Anthony at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Prairie Central, they will head out on the road to face off against Paxton-Buckley-Loda at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. The Hawks are facing the Panthers at the right time seeing as the Panthers are stuck on a seven-game losing streak.
