Hueneme came tearing into Friday's contest with nine straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 6.2 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They were the clear victors by a 15-7 margin over the Nordhoff Rangers. Considering the Vikings have won ten matchups by more than five runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Rey Bibiano made a big impact no matter where he played. On the mound, he tossed three innings while giving up just two earned runs off two hits. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than two walks in three consecutive appearances. He was also solid in the batter's box, getting on base in two of his four plate appearances with two stolen bases and two runs.

In other batting news, Allan Rodriguez was incredible, going 3-for-4 with four runs, three RBI, and one double. Those four runs gave him a new career-high. Cristian Solis was another key player, going 2-for-4 with three RBI and two runs.

Hueneme always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .562. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Nordhoff only posted an OBP of .294.

Hueneme's victory was their ninth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 16-7. The road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.0 runs over those games. As for Nordhoff, they have been struggling recently as they've lost ten of their last 11 games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-15 record this season.
