Soccer Recap: Waynesboro Comes Up Short

Waynesboro was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 1-0 heartbreaker at the hands of the Gettysburg Warriors. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Waynesboro of the 2-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2024.

Waynesboro's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Gettysburg, they now have a winning record of 1-0-1.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Waynesboro is set to face off against their familiar foe James Buchanan at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Gettysburg will challenge rival West Perry at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
