Morgan came up big in Brooklyn's 8-5 win
Winning always takes teamwork, but on Tuesday Tyler Morgan stepped things up a notch to give Brooklyn the 'W'. Morgan was dynamite, scoring two runs and stealing two bases while going 4-for-4.
Morgan's strong effort led Brooklyn over Independence and he'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Brooklyn has some work to do to even out the 2-8 series between these two since March of 2018, but a win here would be a good start.
