West Anchorage has gone a perfect 10-0 against Bartlett recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Wednesday. The Eagles will venture away from home to challenge the Golden Bears at 5:30 p.m. West Anchorage's last three matches have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.

West Anchorage is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Alaska's top teams: Eagle River, who was ranked 19th at the time (West Anchorage was ranked 12th). Neither the Eagles nor Wolves could gain the upper hand on Monday so the two teams had to settle for a 1-1 draw.

West Anchorage's goal came courtesy of Emery Bryan, who's now up to two this season.

Meanwhile, Bartlett fell victim to Dimond and their airtight defense on Monday. They came up short against the Lynx, falling 10-0.

West Anchorage's draw gives them a new season record of 2-5-2. As for Bartlett, their loss dropped their record down to 3-8-1.

West Anchorage was able to grind out a solid win over Bartlett when the teams last played back in May of 2024, winning 2-0. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Eagles since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
