Basketball Recap: Marshon Jackson's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Immokalee over Everglades City + How To Watch

The Immokalee Indians lost to the Everglades City Gators on the road by a 74-57 margin on Tuesday. The Indians have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Several Indians players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Marshon Jackson, who shot 54% from the field on his way to 15 points and five boards. Jackson has also been stellar as far as field goal percentage is concerned: he's posted one of at least 50% every time he's hit the court this season. Luke McCray also deserves some recognition as he scored his first point of the season.

Louis Billie produced another solid performance going 9-for-20 en route to 23 points and eight assists for Everglades City. With that strong performance, Billie is now averaging an impressive 16 points per game. Tayin Fairclough was another key player, dropping a double-double with ten points and 12 rebounds.

Immokalee's loss dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Everglades City, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-2.

Immokalee has already played their next game, an 81-55 defeat against Lely on the 3rd. As for Everglades City, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 70-53 loss against Community School of Naples on the 5th.
