 Two dominant  backs in  Andre Flores and  Tyson Alvarado are getting ready to go toe-to-toe. The Dos Palos Broncos will look to defend their home field  on Thursday against the Coalinga Horned Toads  at 7:00  p.m. Each of these teams will be battling to keep a four-game winning streak alive.
Dos Palos' offense will try to repeat the strong performance it gave  on Friday, when they got past Firebaugh's usually-dominant defense. The Broncos took down the Eagles 31-14.
Dos Palos found their leader in sophomore  Flores, who rushed for 181 yards and two  TDs.
 Dos Palos was unstoppable on the ground and  finished the game with 256  rushing yards. That's the most  rushing yards they've managed all season.
Meanwhile, Coalinga got themselves on the board against Tranquillity on Friday, but Tranquillity never followed suit. They took their  matchup  with ease, bagging  a  55-0 win over the Tigers. The Horned Toads might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won four contests by 35  points or more this season.
Dos Palos better focus on containing  Gracin Redding and  Jd Reed as the pair were huge in Coalinga's win. Redding threw for 122 yards and a pair of  touchdowns while completing 85.7% of his passes, while  Reed picked up 87 receiving yards and two  scores.  Korvallis White was in the mix  as well, providing Coalinga with one TD.
 Coalinga's defense made their presence known, laying out the QB  five times.  Frank Chavez was especially locked on to Tranquillity's QB and sacked him twice. Coalinga received some extra help from  White, whose fumble return for a touchdown  made for one of the most unforgettable moments.
 Dos Palos' victory bumped their record up to 6-3. As for Coalinga, their win bumped their record up to 7-2.
