Volleyball Recap: Ali Moldt Key Part of Team Effort in Royals Win

Burlington Christian Academy took a three-set loss the last time they faced off against Winston Salem Christian, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Royals skirted past the Lions 3-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Royals have posted since October 3, 2024.

The match was a true back-and-forth as no team won consecutive sets, but in the end it was Burlington Christian Academy who won the one that mattered. The final score came out to 25-18, 19-25, 25-19, 17-25, 15-13.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Burlington Christian Academy to victory, but perhaps none more so than Ali Moldt, who had 22 assists and eight digs. Those 22 assists gave Moldt a new career-high.

Burlington Christian Academy was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 12 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least six aces in eight consecutive matchups dating back to last season.
