Van Buren is 6-0 against Lesterville since January of 2017 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Tuesday. The Van Buren Bulldogs are taking a road trip to challenge the Lesterville Bearcats at 5:00 p.m.

Van Buren is probably headed into the match with a chip on their shoulder considering Bakersfield just ended the team's four-game winning streak last Saturday. They fell to the Lions 43-39.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Lesterville). They blew past Valley 63-35 on Thursday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win the Bearcats have posted since December 5, 2024.

Lesterville's victory ended a four-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 6-10. As for Van Buren, their loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 7-7.

Van Buren strolled past Lesterville when the teams last played back in February of 2022 by a score of 73-54. The rematch might be a little tougher for Van Buren since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
