Football Recap: Penelope Comes Up Short

Penelope was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat dating back to last season. They came up short against the Bynum Bulldogs, falling 47-26. The Wolverines were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Bulldogs apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in September of 2024.

Penelope's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Bynum, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-3.

Looking ahead, Penelope will square off against Mount Calm at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Penelope will need to watch out since Mount Calm has now posted at least 31 points every time they've taken the field this season. As for Bynum, they will face off against Blum at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
