Cosby and Jellico are an even 4-4 against one another since October of 2017, but not for long. The Eagles will head out to challenge the Blue Devils at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.

Cosby is probably headed into the contest with a chip on their shoulder considering Hampton just ended the team's three-game winning streak on Friday. The game between the Eagles and the Bulldogs didn't end well, with the Eagles falling 30-12.

Meanwhile, Jellico made easy work of Hancock County on Friday and carried off a 37-14 victory. The Blue Devils pushed the score to 31-6 by the end of the third, a deficit the Indians cut but never quite recovered from.

The win made it two in a row for Jellico and bumps their season record up to 4-5. The victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 14 points in those games. As for Cosby, their loss dropped their record down to 5-4.

Everything came up roses for Cosby against Jellico in their previous matchup back in October of 2024, as the team secured a 49-0 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Eagles since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
