Baseball Recap: Belvidere Wins Going Away Against Rockford Auburn

Belvidere won against Rockford Auburn on Friday with 11 runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Monday. The Bucs put the hurt on the Knights with a sharp 11-1 victory. The win continues a trend for the Bucs in their matchups with the Knights: they've now won six in a row.

Chris Medina made a splash while hitting and pitching. He tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Medina was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-4 with one stolen base, one run, and one double. He is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last three games he's played.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Paul Stark, who went a perfect 4-for-4 with three stolen bases, two runs, and one double. Those four hits gave him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Garrett Nash, who went 2-for-5 with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI.
