Stayton won the last time they faced Philomath and things went their way on Monday too. The Eagles blew past the Warriors 18-2. The result was nothing new for the Eagles, who have now won seven games by ten runs or more so far this season.

The victory made it two in a row for Stayton and bumps their season record up to 9-6. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 15.5 runs over those games. As for Philomath, their loss dropped their record down to 7-7.

Stayton will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Warriors: the pair will be back at it again later today.
