Independence waltzed into their game on Saturday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Starmont Stars. This was payback for the Mustangs, who suffered a 2-1 loss the last time these two teams met.

Independence's win bumped their record up to 11-5. As for Starmont, their defeat ended a six-game streak of away wins and brought them to 7-2.

Independence wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 2-0 loss against West Delaware on the 20th. As for Starmont, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Maquoketa Valley on the 20th.
