Monterey kept a clean sheet against Coronado on Tuesday. They blew past the Coronado Mustangs 4-0. Considering the Plainsmen have won seven contests by more than three goals this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

They hit Coronado with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Frankie Diaz (2), Carlos Alvarez Garcia, and Jimi Gonzalez.

Monterey's victory bumped their record up to 11-0-2. As for Coronado, they dropped their record down to 3-8-3 with the loss, which was their fifth straight at home.

Coming up, Monterey will welcome Plainview at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Monterey is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 3.9 goals per game this season. As for Coronado, they will head out to square off against Amarillo at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday.
