Baseball Game Preview: Kenston Bombers vs. Twinsburg Tigers

The Kenston Bombers will challenge the Twinsburg Tigers at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Twinsburg took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Kenston, who comes in off a win.

Kenston is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They were the clear victors by a 14-7 margin over Beachwood on Friday. The Bombers not only won on Friday, but they posted their biggest win since May 30, 2024 (when they won 8-0).

Kenston got a big performance out of Nolan Gelin, who went 2-for-3 with three RBI and one run. That's the most hits Gelin has posted since back in April. Dylan Krupp was another key player, going 2-for-4 with two runs and two RBI.

They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Kenston kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 15 hits. They are a perfect 3-0 when they post 11 or more hits.

Meanwhile, Twinsburg came up short against Strongsville on Saturday and fell 5-1.

Kenston's victory ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 6-14. As for Twinsburg, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-6.
