Purvis came tearing into Tuesday's matchup with three straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They blew past the Vancleave Bulldogs 3-0. The Tornadoes not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since August 12th (when they won 3-0).

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-10, 25-21, 25-8.

Purvis' victory bumped their record up to 13-3. As for Vancleave, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-4 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Purvis will host Wayne County at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Vancleave, they will be playing at home against Stone at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
