Football Game Preview: Dunnellon Tigers vs. Specially Fit Academy Rams

The Dunnellon Tigers will face off against the Specially Fit Academy Rams at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.

Last Friday, Dunnellon didn't have quite enough to beat Eastside and fell 16-14. The Tigers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Despite their loss, Dunnellon saw several players rise to the challenge and make noteworthy plays. Tony Tanner, who picked up 60 receiving yards and one touchdown, and also rushed for 61 yards, was perhaps the best of all. Tanner also deserves a shoutout for his performance on D, making ten total tackles (1.0 for loss) and defending one pass.

Meanwhile, Specially Fit Academy entered their tilt with Varsity Opponent on Saturday with three consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with four. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Varsity Opponent 45-11. The Rams might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won four contests by 34 points or more this season.

Dunnellon's defeat dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Specially Fit Academy, their victory bumped their record up to 5-1.
