Football Game Preview: Bethune Bobcats vs. Granada Bobcats

Two dominant backs in Ismael Perla and Sebastian Pizarro are getting ready to go toe-to-toe. Bethune will head out on the road to square off against Granada at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Bethune knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 31 points or more in their past four matchups -- so hopefully Granada likes a good challenge.

Fans were treated to a battle of the Bobcats on Saturday. Bethune took their game with ease, bagging a 72-7 win over Manzanola. Bethune might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won three contests by 41 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, Friday just wasn't the day for Granada's offense. They had to suffer through a 52-0 loss at the hands of Cheyenne Wells. Having soared to a lofty 45 points in the game before, the Bobcats' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Bethune is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 4-5 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 57.3 points over those games. As for Granada, their loss dropped their record down to 5-3.
