Soccer Recap: Lewis' Undefeated Season over After Five Games

Lewis's game on Thursday was all tied up 1-1 at the half, but sadly for them it didn't stay that way. They fell just short of the Alexandria City Titans by a score of 3-2. Lewis were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Alexandria City apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in May of 2024.

Giovanni Hernandez wasn't going to let Alexandria City walk away unscathed as he scored both of Lewis' goals, bringing his season total up to four goals.

Having lost for the first time this season, Lewis fell to 2-1-2. As for Alexandria City, the victory keeps they at an undefeated 4-0.

Lewis and Alexandria City will both get their first taste of in-conference action in their upcoming games. Lewis is set to face off against their familiar foe Falls Church at 7:15 p.m. on April 4. Meanwhile, Alexandria City will take on rival Robinson at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
