Volleyball Recap: Clinton Comes Up Short

Clinton came into their game on Tuesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against the Madison Central Jaguars, falling 3-0. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Arrows of the 3-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2024.

The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 25-12, 25-12.

Clinton's defeat dropped their record down to 3-11. As for Madison Central, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-5 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Clinton will square off against rival Germantown at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Madison Central is set to take on their familiar foe Murrah at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
