Basketball Recap: Ben Davis Falls Short of Brownsburg in the Playoffs

Ben Davis and Brownsburg squared off in some playoff action on Saturday, but Ben Davis had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Brownsburg Bulldogs by a score of 52-49. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest defeat the Giants have suffered against the Bulldogs since December 15, 2018.

Several Giants players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Jashawn Ladd, who posted ten points and four steals. That's the most steals Ladd has posted since back in December of 2024. Tavion Williams was another key player, putting up nine points and seven boards.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Brownsburg to victory, but perhaps none more so than Jesiah Sloss, who earned 14 points and six rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Michael Addison, who put up 11 points.

Ben Davis' loss dropped their record down to 17-9. As for Brownsburg, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six games. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-12 record this season.
