Baseball Recap: Cambridge Comes Up Short

It was a proper cat-fight when Cambridge faced off against Marietta on Wednesday. The Bobcats fell 6-2 to the Tigers. The Bobcats were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Tigers earlier this season, when they won 6-1.

Cambridge now has a losing record of 8-9. As for Marietta, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 9-12.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Cambridge will host Fort Frye at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Marietta, they will welcome Parkersburg South at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
