Perkiomen Valley came tearing into Wednesday's contest with seven straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 11.1 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past the Owen J. Roberts Wildcats 3-1. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 5-3 on April 2nd.

Perkiomen Valley's victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 15-2. Those road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.8 runs over those games. As for Owen J.
