Volleyball Game Preview: John J. Duggan Academy vs. Ware Indians

John J. Duggan Academy hasn't had much luck against Ware recently, but that could start to change on Monday. John J. Duggan Academy will look to defend their home court against Ware at 5:15 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

John J. Duggan Academy is headed into Monday's match looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their 17th straight game dating back to last season on Thursday. They came up short against Granby, falling 3-0.

The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 25-13, 25-14.

Meanwhile, Ware was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat dating back to last season. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of Athol.

Ware actually scored more points across those four sets (96-94), but sadly they still had to settle for second. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 29-27, 15-25, 25-22.

John J. Duggan Academy's loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Ware, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-3.

John J. Duggan Academy suffered a grim 3-0 defeat to Ware in their previous matchup back in May of 2024. Can John J. Duggan Academy avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
