Basketball Recap: West Wilkes Takes a Loss

West Wilkes lost against North Wilkes back in February and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The West Wilkes Blackhawks lost 63-42 to the North Wilkes Vikings.

West Wilkes' record now sits at 4-6. As for North Wilkes, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 4-5 record this season.

West Wilkes didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 70-53 defeat against Mount Airy on the 21st. As for North Wilkes, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 63-40 win against Elkin on the 21st.
