For the first time this season, Centaurus will have a chance to prove themselves in a conference matchup. They will welcome the Frederick Golden Eagles at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Centaurus is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 2.6 goals per game this season.

Frederick will square off against a team with plenty of momentum: Centaurus extended their winning streak to three on Tuesday. The Warriors' defense stepped up to hand Vista PEAK Prep an 8-0 shutout. Sophie Neale was a massive factor in the win as she booted in four goals all by herself.

Meanwhile, Thursday just wasn't the day for Frederick's offense. They fell 2-0 to Holy Family on Thursday. Frederick have struggled against Holy Family recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive lost meeting.

Frederick's defeat dropped their record down to 2-7-1. As for Centaurus, the win was their first at home , bumping their record up to 3-4.
