Football Game Preview: Russellville Panthers vs. Caverna Colonels + Official Tickets

After each having a week off, the Russellville Panthers and the Caverna Colonels will shake off the cobwebs and hit the field against one another at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, these teams will really light up the scoreboard.

As a matter of fact, Russellville put up the most points they have all season last Friday. They blew past Ballard Memorial 56-13. The Panthers have beaten the Bombers the last three times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the Bombers has come to flipping the script.

Meanwhile, Caverna was not able to break out of their rough patch last Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were two points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 42-40 heartbreaker at the hands of Fulton County. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game back in September (32), the Colonels still had to take the loss.

Russellville's win bumped their record up to 2-5. As for Caverna, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-5.

Russellville didn't have too much breathing room in their game against Caverna in their previous matchup back in October of 2024, but they still walked away with a 24-20 victory.
