After a string of three wins, Archangels Catholic's good fortune finally ran out on Saturday. They lost 3-0 to the Central Valley Cougars. If the Defenders were looking for revenge after losing 3-1 to the Cougars when the teams met back in October of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Archangels Catholic's loss dropped their record down to 17-10. As for Central Valley, they have been performing well recently as they've won 17 of their last 20 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 22-5 record this season.

While Archangels Catholic had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
