Softball Recap: Summers County Comes Up Short

Thursday just wasn't the day for Summers County's offense. They came up short against the Mount View Golden Knights on Thursday, falling 27-0. The Bobcats have struggled against the Golden Knights recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive lost matchup.

Summers County's loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Mount View, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-0.

Summers County wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, a 19-4 defeat against Midland Trail on the 30th. As for Mount View, they have also already played their next contest, a 6-0 win against Greater Beckley Christian on the 30th.
