Volleyball Recap: Yutan Snags Ninth Win in Last 11 Games

Yutan's game on Wednesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Saturday. They blew past the St. Paul Wildcats 3-0.

Yutan walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the third set). Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 25-17, 25-12.

Yutan had a senior duo take command as Allison Kirchmann had eight digs and two aces and Kenzie Govier had six digs and four assists.

St. Paul's loss came despite strong showings from Keislyn Poss and Delaney Jennings. Poss had 23 digs, while Jennings had 12 digs and three aces. Poss has been hot recently, having posted 12 or more digs the last four times she's played.

Yutan is on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last 11 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 21-7 record this season. As for St. Paul, they moved to 24-10 with that defeat, which also ended their seven-match winning streak.

As of now, neither Yutan nor the Wildcats have any future games scheduled.
