Soccer Game Preview: Orono vs. Chaska

The Orono Spartans will take on the Chaska Hawks at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Orono's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for four straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Having struggled with three defeats in a row, Orono turned things around against New Ulm on Saturday. The two teams finished up on equal footing with a 1-1 draw. The result (or lack thereof) marked Orono's first draw of the season.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Chaska, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Thursday. They came out on top against Jordan by a score of 3-1 on Saturday. The score was all tied up 1-1 at the break, but Chaska were the better team in the second half.

Orono's draw gives them a new season record of 5-5-1. As for Chaska, their victory bumped their record up to 3-9-1.
