Basketball Game Preview: Colfax Vikings vs. Durand-Arkansaw Panthers

Colfax is preparing for their first conference matchup of the season on Tuesday. They will head out to square off against the Durand-Arkansaw Panthers at 7:00 p.m. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this game.

Colfax can't be too happy about their upcoming road contest considering what happened when they opened their season away from home on Tuesday. They fell 46-40 to St. Croix Central.

The loss doesn't tell the whole story though, as several players had good games. One of the most active was Brynn Sikora, who posted eight points along with seven boards and three steals. Jordyn Bowe was another key player, putting up 12 points and five rebounds.

Meanwhile, Durand-Arkansaw unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. The matchup between the Panthers and Fall Creek didn't end well, with the Panthers falling 55-41.

Colfax was taken down by Durand-Arkansaw 57-22 in their previous matchup back in March. Can the Vikings avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
