Reed-Custer's game on Tuesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Wednesday. They were the clear victors by a 17-1 margin over the Woodland Warriors. The result was nothing new for the Comets, who have now won four matchups by eight runs or more so far this season.

Reed-Custer now has a winning record of 7-6. As for Woodland, they are on an eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-9.

Looking ahead, Reed-Custer will host Herscher at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Woodland, they will welcome Putnam County at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
