Volleyball Game Preview: Kecoughtan Warriors vs. Heritage Hurricanes

The Kecoughtan Warriors are taking a road trip to challenge the Heritage Hurricanes at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

On Tuesday, Kecoughtan came up short against Warwick and fell 3-1.

Meanwhile, Heritage didn't have quite enough to beat Woodside on Tuesday and fell 3-2.

Heritage actually scored more points across those five sets (104-100), but sadly they still had to settle for second. The final score came out to 25-20, 22-25, 13-25, 25-23, 15-11.

Kecoughtan's defeat ended an eight-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 8-5. As for Heritage, their loss dropped their record down to 1-7.

Kecoughtan took their victory against Heritage in their previous matchup back in August by a conclusive 3-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Warriors since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
