Volleyball Recap: Pueblo East Makes It Seven in a Row at Home

There's no place like home for Pueblo East, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Saturday. They came out on top against the Grand Junction Central Warriors by a score of 2-0 on Saturday. The Eagles have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Warriors, too.

Pueblo East never let Grand Junction Central on the board, but things got pretty close in the second set. The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 27-25.

Ashlynn Koch paced Pueblo East's offense, picking up five kills. Koch got some help from Cheyanne Ortiz and her 13 assists. Finally, Koch was also a dominant defender, finishing with a team-high four blocks.

Grand Junction Central's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Kaysen Reynolds, who had 20 assists and five digs, and Kyndal Reynolds, who had four digs. Kaysen is on a roll when it comes to assists, as she's now posted 13 or more in each of the last 14 games she's played.
